Current Favourite Hair Products

Another hair product post. I thought id give an insight into my favourite hair products for the past year or so and whats been working for me and giving my hair the benefits it oh so love!

Head And Shoulders Supreme Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner

Now in this day and age who hasn't hear of the brand head and shoulders. I have been using this brand on and off for so long I can't even remember. Ive been using head and shoulders because its basic use function is to help fight off and ease the condition of having dandruff which unfortunately I have suffered now and then. I first started experiencing dandruff when I was back in school and when I had grown my hair long past my shoulders ( a look I must add was somewhat questionable haha). I used to suffer really bad dry scalp and dandruff flakes, it used to really affect my self confidence and I was teased slightly too which I did not appreciate.
I always keep a bottle of head shoulders around so when dandruff does appear I can keep it at bay. The head shoulders range has really expanded over the years, originally it was a standard shampoo and conditioner but now you can get so many that include for coloured hair, dry/damaged hair, thick/thin hair types and many more. Ive been using the supreme smooth range as it gives my hair that soft sleek look, a high gloss affect and no dandruff in sight.

OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

Now this stuff smells like holiday in a bottle. If your looking for a miracle to save your dry/damaged hair and love coconut then this is the one or you. Before i even started reading the information that was on these bottles I was first drawn to the packaging. I found the colours and the iredescent shine of the labelling was so eye catching I just had to give it my attention.
When first investigating I was already looking for some sort of re-hydrating product that would help my ( before I went dark) blonde hair. My hair wasn't damaged or fried but I am always wanting to keep my hair in a good condition because alas one day I could go bald ( praise god or satan that does not happen). I experienced the benefits of this product straight away, my hair felt healthier, renewed and so ever soft. I don't use this too often a I do find it can make my hair become greasier quicker and have to wash my hair more frequent, I think this maybe down to too much moisture in my hair molecules so I roughly only use this once a week or every other week.

Palmers Coconut Oil Conditioning Shampoo & Repairing Conditioner

Now this combination of shampoo and conditioner is the bomb. Again it is another coconut based product but I use this as a little treatment towards the end of the working week. A little pick me up I would say. Ive been using this combination since a few months ago I had to use a colour stripper three times to get rid of my dark hair and get back to my natural red. Although the colour remover did not contain and bleach or ammonia I do feel that doing three times to combat the stubborn dark dye did leave a bit of an impact on my hair.
Luckily I did have the Palmers brand products on hand before I did the colour removal as I did plenty of research first and found a few hair forums and discussions preparing me for the after affects of getting rid of dark dyes with the colour b4 product and a lot of the discussions recommended this product and I have to say it has worked miracles, it smells absolutely amazing and it gives my hair the best treatment its ever had. I so recommend my readers who are hair junkies to keep this in their back pockets for a little spa hair treatment.

OGX Bonding Plex Step 1 & Step 2 Shampoo & Conditioner

Now you may have seen these products used by a few Youtubers in the passed year or so, I first saw of it through a Youtuber called Sophie Hannah. This product is supposed to be a cheaper and more affordable version of the very popular salon product know as Olaplex.
Olaplex is a hair treat that helps protect and keep hair molecules and maintains the protein and pores.
The OGX Bonding Plex works in the same manner. Its basically another treatment for your hair. As I was watching one of Sophie Hannahs vlogs she mentions that she's gets her hair bleached and coloured quite frequently ( I can definitely relate!) she always struggles to keep her hair in good balance and if I remember clearly she was endorsing this product and brand and giving her own thoughts and opinions and I liked what she was saying.
Ive only been using this for a week or so and I can say that it has helped my hair. Ive recently had the sides of my hair slightly bleached ( done by yours truly, which I know is wrong but I knew what I was doing) and having hair bleached does dry out the ends of my hair they have now found themselves back into a healthy soft situation.
I will do a more lengthily pos on this product as I am still skeptical about this.
